This policy is a general-purpose template written to cover a small made-to-order 3D printing business in Singapore. It is not a substitute for legal advice — have a lawyer review it before you rely on it for compliance, especially the sections marked like this, which you should fill in with your actual business details.

1. Who we are

Rando Labs ("we", "us", "our") designs and 3D prints custom objects to order in Singapore. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use our website or place an order, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).

2. What we collect

We collect information you give us directly, and a small amount automatically via analytics tools.

Order details — name, phone number/WhatsApp handle, email, delivery address, and product choices you give us when placing an order.
Uploaded artwork — any logo, image, or design file you send us to be printed on your product.
Messages — anything you send us over WhatsApp or email when asking a question or placing an order.
Analytics data — if enabled, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity collect anonymised usage data (pages visited, device type, approximate location, session recordings/heatmaps) to help us understand how the site is used. See Section 4.

3. How we use it

To produce, verify (e.g. tap-testing NFC chips), and deliver your order.
To communicate with you about your order or answer questions.
To improve our website and product range.
To meet legal or accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Cookies & analytics

Our site may use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand visitor behaviour. These tools use cookies or similar technology and may collect your IP address, browser type, and interactions with the page. You can opt out using your browser's cookie settings, or via Google's opt-out browser add-on. Until analytics IDs are configured in this site's settings, no analytics data is collected.

5. Sharing your data

We share data only with the services needed to run the business, such as:

WhatsApp / email, to receive and respond to your order.
Payment processors (e.g. HitPay, Stripe) once card payments are enabled, to process transactions securely — we do not store your card details ourselves.
Delivery/courier partners, to ship your order.

6. How long we keep it

We keep order records and correspondence for as long as needed to fulfil the order, handle any warranty/defect claims, and meet accounting or legal requirements, after which they are deleted or anonymised.

7. Your rights

Under the PDPA, you may ask us to:

Access the personal data we hold about you.
Correct inaccurate data.
Withdraw consent to how we use your data (this may limit our ability to fulfil an existing order).

8. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect your data, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

9. Children's privacy

Our products and services are intended for adults placing orders on behalf of themselves or a business. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the latest revision.
